A small team of eight kind, volunteer litter pickers undertook a superhuman effort today by cleaning up Greenhall Park, High Blantyre.
The group managed to collect a whopping 27 bags of litter and an array of other items from in and around Greenhall Park earlier this morning. A member of the group is also going to report a fly tip of tyres.
If you have a spare hour and you fancy joining a local litter pick please see Hamilton & Blantyre Litterpickers Group page. They are a friendly bunch and no equipment is required. It provides good exercise, feels good to see the fruits of your labours and doing your bit to make the place where you live better for everyone.
Well done to all involved.
