Time is running out if you still want to have your say on how the Council should spend money on local playparks.
People throughout Lanarkshire are being invited to take part in a council-run play area consultation following a South Lanarkshire Council cash injection of £3.5 million.
The sum is set to be invested into improving children’s play equipment throughout Lanarkshire, thanks to a Scottish Government initiative. However, some community groups have commented that whilst the cash is welcome, it’s not enough to make a lasting change on all of Lanarkshire’s 233 playparks. As such, YOUR comments and suggestions are needed.
You can have your say right now, as the Council want to know how they should prioritise spending the money. To take part in the consultation, please see here: https://tinyurl.com/2p9csx2p
The consultation ends on 31st January 2022.
