An unusual occurrence this afternoon as 2 fighter jets flew over the densely populated area of Central Belt.
You may have heard the noise around 5.35pm today, Thursday 20th January 2022. According to sources, the jets were F15s and were flying very low at approximately 1200 feet, heading south.
How heard them then?
Flew low over Loudoun Hill in Ayrshire twice. Must have been distressing for local farm animals, horses and dogs. Any idea what’s happening. Wasn’t announced on usual RAF sources.
