Tomorrow is shaping up to be a brilliant day for local families. It’s High Blantyre’s fantastic family fun day! The fun begins at 11am Saturday, 13th August at Kirkton Park, High Blantyre and the forecast is to be very warm, dry with sunshine!
This is a last chance for kids to get out and enjoy themselves in the park before they go back to school next week.
Organisers, Hyber Cyber have been busy arranging all the final touches and it really is going to be an incredible day. Just £3 will get you UNLIMITED access to inflatables, BMXs, rides, seeing animals and more! There’s loads to do. Don’t forget to put your suncream on and take care in the afternoon sun.
The Council have been out today and cut the grass, spending time to make the park look its best as our photo shows. The ground is dry and ideal for the funday.
We’ll be there covering the event from late morning and hope to get lots of photos and stories from the day. Come up and say hi! The event runs from 11am until 4.00pm.
