Tonight, Friday 12th August sees the opening of a new entertainment venue in Blantyre.
It’s the official launch evening of “The Olive Music Lounge” on Broompark Road! Formerly the Dooninn pub, new owners Audrey and Robert Hunter look forward to welcoming the community to their new establishment. The couple who took over the premises in July, also own another business, the Beer Cafe in Merchant City so they’re experienced hands when it comes to running pubs.
The Olive is open 7 days a week with live entertainment each Friday from 8.30pm – 12.00, each Saturday from 4.30pm – close and each Sunday 5.00pm – close.
Contractors have been busy today with new signage already installed ahead of launch. Everythings all set for a memorable evening. We trust you’ll join us in wishing Audrey and Robert all the very best and we look forward to visiting in the near future.
