A real blow this week to kid’s local entertainment as ‘Bouncestation EK’ and ‘Lollipop Land’ announce closures.
The sudden news will be a shock to many local families, with both venues usually very busy.
Both popular East Kilbride businesses have announced they’re closing. Bouncestation, based at Stewartfield Way are closing their doors as of today, issuing a statement on social media, confirming, “All customers with existing bookings will be contacted within the next few days”.
Lollipop Land have also issued a statement adding, “Due to unforeseen circumstances out with our control. Lollipop Land will be closed from today Monday 9th January 2023. Lollipop Land will be relocating to new premises in the near future and we will advise of the location as soon as possible. We will issue further updates on our Facebook page moving forward. We will be contacting all our customers who have Birthday Party Bookings to issue deposit refunds. We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused. We would appreciate your support during this transition. It is with heavy heart we have been forced to close. We value our staff and loyal customers who have supported us throughout.”
Air Thrill in East Kilbride have also issued a statement intending to help those employees affected, adding, “With the very recent closure of Bounce Station EK and Lollipop Land we wanted to reach out to any staff who are implicated by this situation to make contact with us as we have a limited number of job opportunities available across our three venues in East Kilbride (WonderWorld, Air Thrill and Electric Thrill) which we are currently hiring for.
