We need your help! As you probably know Blantyre Telegraph, as a charitable news outlet exists primarily to raise money for local good causes, (with the added benefit of getting some local news out to you all!)
Some news here on the main website and Facebook page is free, but thanks to our exclusive Supporters Group, we also raise funds every month to go entirely BACK to the local community. This is the reason we do this for no reward, giving up our spare time for no payment at all for the last quarter of a lifetime.
With 23,000 people here on this page, hundreds are already enjoying the extra news in our Supporters Group, getting the full picture of ALL Blantyre news as it happens. This includes alerts, crime stories, breaking news and other stories you wouldn’t normally see on this page here.
For just £1.79 (the cost of a cup of tea), you can help Blantyre’s community directly by joining our Supporters Group. Start and stop at anytime and help local causes directly. There’s SO much potential in our readership to do SO, SO much more within the community. We don’t have a magazine anymore since the pandemic, so Supporters group is our only way to raise funds. Without it, Telegraph would stop.

Worthwhile local causes in the last few weeks like helping youngster Amy Williamson with her startup business, or giving little Sophie who suffered a stroke, a better birthday in hospital. Or simply giving children like Erin Brown a birthday present and helping local primary schools with their P7 leavers celebrations.
