A Blantyre family has been left shocked and angry after storage container was stolen containing their belongings.
In the midst of several thefts in the High Blantyre area in recent weeks, this latest theft was most shocking as tools were stolen connected to a person’s livelihood.
The large blue container was stolen in broad daylight from Kirkton Avenue last weekend. The resident is now left with absolutely nothing not even as much as a measuring tape after he had built his tools up since he was 17 years old. He had the best of the best so this is a huge blow, leaving all the family devastated.
They’re appealing for any CCTV footage, perhaps on camera or ring doorbells? It was last seen at 4pm on Sunday 30th April and the family have since received messages saying they saw a large lorry lifting the whole container away, accompanied by 2 men.
