It’s the end of another month! Our June Supporter donations are going to Calderside Academy to provide football kits for the 2023/2024 season.
We’ve handed in £300 as sponsorship of the new school football strips for high school pupils (both girls and boys teams) which will have Blantyre Telegraph logo on each new kit. Depute Head teacher Pamela McCaig took receipt of the cheque earlier this week before the schools broke up for summer.
This was possible, with kind thanks to the many people subscribing to our Supporters group. We’re assured by the teachers that three entire teams will benefit from this donation for at least the forthcoming year. What a great way to end term!
