The Head teacher of Calderside Academy is moving on to another role outwith Blantyre.
Mr Skayne Dodds, Head Teacher of Calderside Academy has announced he will be leaving the
school in the new year to take on a new role in education.
The school therefore now enters a recruitment exercise to appoint a new headteacher and an advert
for the post of Head Teacher at Calderside Academy will go live imminently. The Parent Council will also have a role to play in the appointment process.
Mr Dodds will remain as headteacher until the new appointment is made.
In the meantime, we’re sure you will join us in thanking Mr Dodds for his service to the school these
past years, and in extending our best wishes to him for the future.
