Our remembrance banners have started going up this week around Blantyre. Several identical quality banners were bought used our Simm Endeavour Funding to decorate parts of Blantyre during this reflective week.
The various banners, to remember fallen soldiers are sustainable for reuse each year, meaning we can use them again and again in coming years and were bought several weeks ago when they were cheaper to purchase.
Remembrance services take place at Auchentibber & High Blantyre War Memorials this Sunday. If you’re attending any of these services, remember to wrap up. Temperatures on Sunday are forecast to be just above freezing.
