There will be no bin collections on Christmas Day (Monday 25 December), Tuesday 26 December 2023 or Monday 1 January 2024.
Bin collections on the week starting Monday 25 December will be carried out two days later than normal, and the following week they will be carried out one day later than normal. Check your collection dates on this website:
All collections will return to normal on Monday 8 January 2024.
Adverse weather conditions can result in delays during the winter months.
Please note SLC will not be collecting any bags of waste placed next to bins – only waste in the bins will be emptied. Bags can be torn by animals and birds, creating mess and health hazards. Collecting extra bags also makes it difficult to complete bin collections.
