Planning permission has been submitted by South Lanarkshire Council for 12 new homes just off Main Street, High Blantyre.
The proposals at the former Kirkton Care Home site includes the construction of 12 new build semi detached houses along with associated services and hard and soft landscaping.
The houses will be a mix of different types. Access will NOT be on to Main Street or Auchinraith Road, but instead accessed from the north at Braehead via Nursery Place.
A planning decision is expected in the coming weeks.
