A big clean up following the recent storms is still underway as fallen trees continue to be cleared.
Many thanks to Scott Thompson and the team at SLC Arboriculture for cutting a path through this massive fallen tree at Milheugh, down the Calder. Great job guys! This and other trees were blocking the path on popular walks.
It’s not just the council who have been tidying things up. Local residents in and around Blantyre have also at their own time and expense cleared routes for the public again, removing trees from paths and secondary roads. Their efforts are equally as appreciated.
