Thank you to everybody who came along to the public meeting last night to hear about the proposed cuts by SLLC which could potentially close a number of our community halls and the library in Blantyre.
It was both shocking and enlightening to hear just how much the community will be affected by these budget cuts.
The meeting was well attended and thanks are offered to Blantyre Community Council for organising the even at the June Stewart Centre. We would like to say thanks for being invited along to speak and think the other speakers did a fantastic job.
