A Protest by the parents of Calderside Academy pupils will take place tomorrow in protest of proposed cuts by South Lanarkshire Council to School transport.
Annoyed parents are meeting to protest tomorrow, Wednesday 14th February 2024 at 11.00am outside the County Buildings in Hamilton.
A spokesperson for Calderside Academy School Transport Group, “We also plan to do a mass walk to school probably on 19th Feb and then a mass drive to school the following week. We, at Calderside have teamed up with other parents affected at Cathkin etc. We really understand the difficult issues that the council are facing with regards to budget, but these cuts will affect our children’s safety and education.”
