A brand new recovery group starts in Blantyre this Saturday 16th March 2024.

Local man, Paul Barrett told us, “I have started my own recovery meeting for addicts on Saturdays. Starting from 16th March, the group aims to give everyone that extra bit of structure in their lives as there is not much on at weekends if you’re not in CA or AA ,(especially around Hamilton and Blantyre area). I believe every single person on this planet can get sober if they really want to. I have already inspired about 10/15 people to start their recovery journey , lots more but between 10/15 people actual doing taking the advice I’m giving them and acting on it by going to meetings, getting their family back , their lives back.”
Paul’s inspiring words come just a week or so after he bravely and kindly shared his own personal story of recovery. Everybody is welcome to attend the meeting.
