Lanarkshire Family History Society is holding a Family and Local History Fayre at the David Livingstone Birthplace in Blantyre tomorrow, Saturday, 6th April 2024.
The event will bring together organisations and groups from throughout Lanarkshire and those attending will be able to find out more about the history of the local area and get advice on starting or growing their family tree.
Among the organisations in attendance will be Lanarkshire Police Historical Society; Blantyre Heritage Group; and Stonehouse History Group. Lanarkshire Heritage Forum; Bothwellhaugh Ex-residents Group; and Monklands Poets and Writers Group will also be in attendance.
The event runs from 10.00am until 4.00pm at the David Livingstone Birthplace at the Village, 165 Station Road, Blantyre G72 9BY.
