Morning all. The weekend is here, but unfortunately, we’re in for some very unsettled weather on both Saturday and Sunday.
Today
Today will see a wet start. Turning drier through the morning, but patchy rain lingering around. Skies brightening up as rain eases later in the day. Winds will significantly and very quickly pick up gaining in strength during later morning with a very windy day ahead with a risk of gales. Temperatures more in the region of what we would expect for this time of year.
Tonight
Tonight will continue to be windy, with variable amounts of cloud and a chance of a few isolated showers drifting in from the south-west. A few clear breaks developing at times. Strong gusts on the coasts.
Sunday
Tomorrow morning will be mainly dry with sunny spells. Temperatures above average raising to around a mild 15 degrees in Central Belt. It will turn cloudier with frequent blustery showers in the afternoon, some heavy and locally thundery. Windy with strong gusts.
