Following our Supporters Group story earlier this week about the potential drive through at Forrest Street junction of Glasgow Road, an outcome is now known.
The council have been informed that the applicant has withdrawn their application on Thursday 11th April 24.
The fast food drive through in Blantyre therefore will NOT happen.
Alfie’s Tyre business will continue at that location, concluding this long standing matter, which seems to have been with planning for years. This finally sees some resolution for the existing hard working tyre business, who permitted to continue working in that location can now focus on developing and building their business further.
