Weather update for the week ahead. Things should look a little brighter later on today, with temperatures rising, but make the most of it for a change is on the way.
Cooler temperatures are forecast arriving about mid week, with nighttime temperatures down close to (but not quite at) freezing. As low pressure drives in , winds will be light and some scattered showers expected. It’s the temperatures at evenings and nights which will be noticeable though, likely prompting the switching back on of heating systems for many.
Perhaps getting close to packing up the garden furniture for the year? Such colder nights will also start to see the leaves turn colour, bringing the inevitable onset of Autumn.
