SP Energy Networks begin work at Whistleberry Road, Blantyre at the weekend.
Work starts on Saturday 12th October to lay a new LV mains cable for the new LIDL retail store and is expected to take up to 5 days. Work will include temporary traffic lights near the Whistleberry Roundabout with possible queues, especially at peak or rush hours.
Other roadworks nearby at Glasgow Road by SGN may contribute towards further traffic queues, and may be worth avoiding the location if possible.
