AND….it’s gone! The last part of ‘Montrose House’ in Hamilton is now demolished! The final section next to Almada Street was raised to the ground earlier today, Friday 18th October 24.
The premises were formerly the offices of the historic Southern Scottish Electricity Board and were purchased by the local authority approximately 20 years ago for use as offices in addition to the adjacent Council Headquarters. A prime area over 6,000m2 is now being cleared for development.
Please be aware, the EV charging points are still there.
