Drivers should take care this week coming down the hill at Greenhall at Hamilton Road into High Blantyre.
Scottish Power Energy Networks are working to excavate, backfill & reinstate new 33kV cables. Working near the crossing point at Greenhall Village, the temporary lights are causing some tailbacks, especially at rush hour. This road can be particularly busy, and vehicles tend to exit the EK Expressway at speed.
Works are expected to be finished by 31st October.
