After a traumatic couple of days for one Blantyre family, their beloved pet dog ‘Boé’ is safely back home!
If you remember, sadly Boé got off the lead at Main Street, High Blantyre and was run down by a passing vehicle. She ran off, promoting a search, which involved many people and got lots of people concerned about her wellbeing.
After a 12 hour search including through the whole night, Boé was found in Kirkton Place, High Blantyre in a back garden at 9am this morning. She was shaken, scared and exhausted. A kind resident Eilish McColgan and friends looked after her until the family arrived.
Boé’s owner is of course immensely grateful for all the messaged, people who were out looking and for all the shares on social media. A huge thank you is given to Eilish .
Blantyre provided a suitable response and through the power of Facebook, this dog’s journey came to a quick happy end.
As for Boé, back home and safe…..she has now been checked over with vet and had various scans. We’re pleased to report she is thankfully okay, nothing broken except for a minor graze. She’s been very lucky!
