This has come round fast. High Blantyre’s Christmas Street Lights were quietly switched on at 4.15pm tonight, though some of them further eastwards don’t seem to be working yet.
Tomorrow, Sunday 17th November will be the turn of Low Blantyre when the street lights along Glasgow Road get illuminated, as well as the town’s Christmas trees. This is expected at approximately 4.15pm.
