Blantyre Festive Artisan Market

A pleasant, festive afternoon was had today, Sunday 17th November at the Blantyre Festive Artisan Market.

We were in good company at David Livingstone Birthplace, just off Station Road, Blantyre as the grounds were much busier than usual and crowds came down to see 32 beautiful Artisan stalls. The weather was kind with the rain staying off, though at 2 degrees it was a cold one! We popped by towards the end of the event, and as usual at busy Blantyre events….. not able to take 10 steps without meeting interesting and known friendly folks to chat to! There was a lot to see, admire and taste! Visitors also enjoyed the cafe, gift shop and museum.

Some really beautiful crafts and products. Hope all the stallholders did well. Thanks to organisers & Wylde Thistle Events for putting on a great, well organised event and to stallholders for allowing their photos taken. Here’s some of today’s pictures.
