Disgruntled residents in Station Road, Blantyre awoke this morning to find much of Station road coned off, with many of them not being notified.
This happened late last night, and it would appear many households were not notified of the work. One angry resident told Blantyre Telegraph, “I wasn’t informed, nor my neighbours. The traffic is horrendous on this road at the best of times and it’s also the drop off for St Joseph’s School, with Park Lane having no traffic between certain hours. “
This is due to forthcoming work by BT, who will be starting work to clear blockages on 21st November for 5 days. Some parking restrictions apply.
