Blantyre Farm Road from Uddingston is now open again following yesterdays accident, but there are temporary traffic lights in place for the crossing over the Clyde Bridge at Haughhead. Please be aware the lights are actually on the bridge so take care on approach.
Nearby Golf range open as normal today.
This bridge is too narrow and not fit for the volume of traffic. It’s time serious money was spent to do something about it….perhaps some of the budget set aside for underused cycle lanes?
