As the renovation of Stonefield Road and Camelon Crescent flats in Blantyre continues, this fortnight sees the replacement of brand new balconies.
Out comes the old, rusty paint stripped half century old railings, and now constructed are attractive, black new balconies, aesthetically pleasing and fit for purpose.
As our photo earlier this weekend shows, it’s been great to see money being spent on these properties and they ARE looking great. It was badly needed. New lighting, insulation, new roofs, new windows, new utility boxes and secure entrances, roughcasting, painting, balconies and fencing. We know many residents in these flats are appreciative of the work being done.
