Inspirational charities and dedicated volunteers from across South Lanarkshire were honored at the recent Third Sector Awards in Blantyre.
Organized by Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire (VASLan) and hosted at The Parkville Hotel, the annual event celebrates the remarkable contributions of individuals and groups who work tirelessly to make a difference. From addressing social isolation to developing green spaces, the awards shine a spotlight on the transformative impact of charitable initiatives throughout the region.
The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches and the presentation of awards across various categories, including Volunteer of the Year, Grassroots Organisation of the Year, and the Young Person Achievement Award.
