Hillhouse Road in High Blantyre will undergo some extensive improvements to the road surface in January next year, in the interests of enhancing safety.
The road is due to be resurfaced with anti-skid surfacing (both east and westbound) between Douglas Street and Technology Avenue from 9pm to 6am nightly from Monday 13 January to Wednesday 15 January for anti-skid installation works. The road will be closed during this work which is expected to take place in evenings and through the night. Diversions will be in place via Hillhouse Road Roundabout, Douglas Street, Main Street Blantyre, East Avenue, Hillhouse Road.
