Jay McKnight is a talented 17 year old from Blantyre and rising darts star.
With a busy 2025 year ahead, Jay is looking for sponsors to help him in his youth darts journey. His darts name is Jay “The Juggernaut” McKnight.
Jay told Blantyre Telegraph, “I play in the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) and Scottish Darts Association (SDA) and I play on a Monday night in The Blantyre Darts League, Wednesday night in the ADC Vault and on a Thursday night in McGoldricks Super League in Rutherglen and many other darts tournaments throughout the year.”
An appeal goes out to local organisations and businesses.
“If you’re interested in sponsoring me, your Company logo will be added to my darts tops and I would also advertise your Company on social media. Your sponsorship will help with travel costs and equipment costs.”
Jay’s achievements in 2024 are certainly notable:-
He got to the JDC National Championship Final which was played on stage in front of 500 people.
He Won a JDC Ranking Event
He got to 2 SDA Finals (Future Stars Final & Grandprix Final).
He got to the Final of the SDA Youth Fife Open.
Jay has also qualified for the JDC Masters which will be played in March.
