Known for its authentic, New Orleans-style fried chicken and southern comfort food, Popeyes has been making waves since it opened its Scottish branch in Braehead in 2022.
The new East Kilbride branch is part of Popeyes’ ambitious growth strategy to double its UK presence in 2024, with plans to open 30 new outlets this year, including locations in Aberdeen on Union Street, Glasgow on Sauchiehall Street, and at Braehead, Popeyes is dedicated to makings its delicious inspired menu more accessible across Scotland and UK .
As part of this growth, Popeyes is set to create job opportunities, which should have a meaningful impact on the local economy and provide exciting career prospects for the community. Job openings for the new branch have been advertised for senior roles, including general manager and assistant general manager, and also full-time staff.
With fit-out contractors already on-site at South Lanarkshire, the transformation is still underway. The opening date is not confirmed yet.
