Congratulations go out today to local woman, Elizabeth Harper who is celebrating a big birthday!
Born in 1935, Elizabeth is 90 years old today, Sunday 5th January. People may remember Elizabeth who worked in the old Co-Op in High Blantyre and also worked for a time in D&J Rodgers Butchers, nearby on Main Street, High Blantyre. Her family want to wish her a wonderful 90th birthday.
Elizabeth has had a tough year, recently breaking her arm , with kidney issues and now finding out she has a serious illness. She’s a trooper and we hope things are looking brighter.
