Updated snow forecast for Central Scotland from the Met Office this afternoon (Sunday 5th January). Inclement snowy weather has now shifted eastwards. Looks like Blantyre is still on the absolute outskirts of the alert, so we might miss the snow after all!
Significant snowfall has fallen in the north of England and southern Scotland with temperatures expected to get even colder next week.
