Hamilton Racecourse is assessing the damage from last weeks Storm Eowyn.
Their lawn marquee suffered badly, torn apart by the gale force winds. Significant sections of the glass doors and panels were smashed at the Bothwell Road venue.
A spokesperson added, “Hamilton Park has sustained damage to our club lawn marquee and some signage around the resort due to Storm Eowyn on Friday, January 24.
“The affected area has been cordoned off to ensure safety, and we are actively working on contingency plans to address the impact on our venue ahead of our 2025 season. As the trackside marquee is a permanent structure, it could not be dismantled prior to the storm.”
