Last night, local lassie Chloe Fullerton achieved a fantastic milestone for 3rd Blantyre Scouts and something to make all of her family and friends very proud!
At the Clyde scouts celebration of achievement awards night, Chloe was presented with the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award and the Kings Scout Award.
Chloe is the first ever person in 3rd Blantyre Scout Group to complete her DofE gold award and is the first female in the groups long, established Blantyre history to complete her Kings Scout Award – the highest award a scout can achieve!
Chloe has completed expeditions, learned new skills, challenged herself physically, mentally and developed leadership skills. Completing these awards requires discipline, determination, resilience and commitment.
