A 35-year-old man has been arrested as part of an investigation into a fatal road crash in Hamilton last year. The unnamed man has been taken into custody in connection with road traffic offences.
The incident occurred on Sunday, 27 October 2024, at approximately 00:40 on Quarry Street, Hamilton.
Emergency services responded, but 70-year-old pedestrian James Craig was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigations are ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact police.
