Cole Murphy (15) is a Blantyre lad who attends Glasgow School of Sport for his swimming.
The school have now announced they don’t have funding to keep the school going beyond 2026.
Cole’s mother Lauren told us, “We’re trying our best to get as many signatures on our petition as possible? Cole has benefited from attending the school for over 2 years. The school nurtures kids with sporting talents to allow them to fulfil their abilities with their sports and their education at the same time.“
Incredibly, Cole is within the top 5 in all of Scotland (for his age) and for his stroke which is 200m butterfly. A lad with a promising future!
