Improved gym and swimming facilities returning soon to Blantyre

Blantyre Leisure Centre will reopen its gym and swimming pool on 12 January after extensive renovations. Improvements include new cardio and resistance equipment, enhanced changing facilities, and the introduction of the BOX12 Pod for modern fitness experiences. Swimming lessons and Aquafit will also resume, with further upgrades planned for February.

Blantyre Pool Now Open

After 19 months of being closed, Blantyre Swimming Pool is now back open again! The large pool opened earlier today, Wednesday 10th November 2021. The sauna is open too, though the steam room is still closed. After such a long time, it’s great to be back swimming locally!
