Blantyre Victoria Youth Football Club had a busy day today.
It was their very first Parent/Coach v kids football game and what a fantastic day it turned out to be!
A Vics spokesperson said, “A great game played in good spirits by the kids and parents in which the kids ran out very very comfortable winners!”
“The auld heeds matched the boys for much of the first half then the legs, backs, groins, calfs all went and at that point the boys stepped up the pace and scored a barrel loads of goals in the second half”
It was a great day for a great cause raising much needed funds for the boys team and also supporting and donating to men’s mental health charity. A special thanks to Lynsey Mcinally for organising the event and for feeding and hydrating everyone at the final whistle! Well done everybody!
