Four kind hearted individuals from Blantyre are embarking on a charitable hike of the West Highland Way and looking for a little support from the community.
Couple Elizabeth and Raymond Henderson will be heading out next month with their lifelong friends husband and wife Jamie and Claire Nisbet all in the name of charity, Alzheimers Scotland.
The four of them have a great love for the outdoors and often embark on hikes including bagging as many Munro’s as possible together. We are all from Blantyre and have a love for the great out doors & the four of us often embark on Munro bagging together.
Elizabeth told Blantyre Telegraph, “Alzheimers Scotland is a charity close to our hearts as Raymond’s dad has Alzheimer’s & Jamie’s step dad has vascular dementia so the four of us witness first hand what life is like for people & their families living with this illness.”
