Ah, the sunshine! It’s been great these last 5 weeks or so! Sunny, fine weather with not a drop of rain, but it’s all coming to an end.
Tomorrow, Friday 23rd May will be yet another fine and dry day with plenty of sunshine and very little cloud cover, but clouds will increasingly roll in during late afternoon. During the evening, widespread cloud will move in from the west, with rain, the first downpours in many weeks arriving after dusk. It will still feel warm.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday
Saturday will be cloudy with blustery outbreaks of rain flowing in from the west over Lanarkshire, some locally heavy. Great news for the garden, not so much for those wanting to be out in their gardens! Turning breezier. Windy on Sunday with sunny spells and scattered showers, some locally thundery. Monday will see the windy conditions and blustery showers continue.
