Devastated friends and family of Cambuslang man, Greg Monks have raised more than £25,000 to bring his body home after he was discovered dead whilst on a stag do in Portugal.
The 38-year-old vanished hours after landing in Albufeira on Tuesday, May 27th, to celebrate a stag party with his friends.
Greg’s sister Jillian said in a statement, “Didn’t think it would end like this…we are absolutely devastated.
“Greg was an amazing boy who everyone thought so highly of. He was friends with everyone and always made us laugh. We will miss him everyday.”
