Another little update on the Blantyreferme roadworks.
Construction work is now well progressed on the new roundabout at the junction of Blantyre Farm Road and Calder Road. The new roundabout junction is taking shape, kerning now formed, though the road to Newton continues to remain closed for now.
Contractors have completed much of the earthworks and kerbing with associated drainage, landscaping, lighting underway. The project still needs surfaced. It appears there are still just over a months of work left, with the new junction planned on opening for the school holidays starting.
