Sad news this evening.
Former Celtic goalkeeper and Lisbon Lion John Fallon has died at the age of 84.
John was a Scottish former professional footballer and member of the Celtic squad that won the European Cup in 1967, which came to be known as the Lisbon Lions. He was well known in Blantyre and also owned Fallons Bar on Glasgow Road.
