IIt is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of local woman Jane Dorricott. (also known as Jean). Jane was a cherished mother, gran, great grandmother (Gee-gee), sister, and friend whose kindness, strength, and warmth touched the lives of so many.
She passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family have announced funeral details and told us, “We invite all who knew and loved Jane to join us in celebrating her life and saying our goodbyes.”

Following the service, there will be a gathering at the Blantyre Miners Welfare to share memories and to honour Jane’s life.
The family added, “We’d like to thank you all for your love, support, and kind thoughts.”
