Well it was too good to last! The sun is rapidly vanishing this evening and tonight (Tuesday) will start dry with largely clear skies, but a band of cloud and rain will soon move in from the west. It will turn drier with clear spells and just the odd shower towards dawn.

A breezier day. Thursday is expected to see sunny spells and scattered but heavy showers. Friday looks to see further heavy showers throughout the day. Trending slightly cooler.
