A series of strikes look at University of the West of Scotland (UWS). Lecturers at the University of the West of Scotland are set to strike on 10 days across September and October.
As well as their other campuses in Scotland, UWS Blantyre strikes will take place on Thursday, September 11, then followed by further action in September and October. Strike dates include September 16, 22 and 23 as well as October 2, 3, 7, 8, 20 and 21.
The University have said that they are “committed to mitigating the impact of this reduction on staff” and that “we are seeking to avoid compulsory redundancies”.
